The Rapid Developing Power of Four

Unlike the United States of America, China only has Four Branches of power. Also, the Chinese Military is the fastest growing military power in the world, although still far from the US.

These are the four Branches of military power:

  1. PLA Ground Forces (Army)
  2. PLA Navy (Navy and Marines)
  3. PLA Air Force (Air Force)
  4. PLA Second Artillery Corps (SRBMs, IRBMs, ICBMs Missiles)
Much is still secretive about the Chinese military, as with their whole government. However, through ratings, it is the 3rd most powerful in the world now, after US, and the Russians.

Starting from PLA foundation in 1949, they have played a big role in all forms of Chinese advancements. After defeating the Japanese, and kicking out the Taiwanese (Nationalism Political Party), the country was left in rubles. Unlike the US's military who only is involved with fighting, the chinese military also can be used as construction workers in times of need. With millions of construction workers/military personell with skills and diligence of both, much of the foundation works for infastructure was layed out by them, thus earning a respectable status as helpful warriors.

Currently, there are over 2 and a half million army personell, (which is the biggest branch by far) and much advancements. From the beginning, they mostly used whatever hunting rifles they could find. These were inacurrate and unreliable, but the pure power of the numbers defeated or successfully defended (for the most part) key battles in the Chinese Civil War, which they would take better (American supplied) guns from the dead bodies of the Nationalism soldiers. Soon, after the Hu Hai Battle, they also took control of vast artilleries, thus evening out the unfair advantage of Nationalism Party. Winning the war, they also had access to the vast arsenals supplied by the US (on what was left behind, which was a lot).
